L8LEY

Here's Eden having luncheon with her entourage, wanting some serious alone time.

We took a trip to the Fine Arts Museum for the monthly Family Art Saturday to culture the child. Or to take advantage of the free entrence day and waste some time. Or both.

Here I am telling Ede to "look at the art. like you really like it".

There was a scavenger hunt the Museum provided where you have to find a piece of art by a cryptic description given. Tyson took on his Professor Longbottom alter ego and got all excited teaching eden about art and history. Art history.

She wasn't super into it until she heard "chopped head off".

And then she was all, "whhhuttttt".

Me documenting my one and only culinary talent: crepes. Which really isn't a talent considering the crepe maker does most of the work. And the nutella. Maybe I'm more talented at scarfing ten down in a row. Yes, that's it.

Here we're making Christmas ornaments that ended up in the trash because I clearly don't have the time to read "used for" labels on craft paint. But hey, she had fun. So there.

Frederick Douglass hair (prior to taming above).

December was White Trash Hot Spring month. Floating band aids and mullets aside, it's a relaxing place where Ede made her first gal pal in Salt Lake - Shelby. We had her first real play date with a second trip here. She still calls Shelby her best friend (among 27 others) although she's played with her twice. Hash tag: true friendship, loyal as a labrador, kids do it right.

  1. Love the crepes and the ornaments. You're such a good mom. And I'm proud that I got the Fredrick Douglas hair comment. :)
